Setting the Stage

Design Choices - Color

The color palette was inspired by warm, earthy tones to create a sense of richness and sophistication. The primary colors used were warm black, which were paired with soft, muted tones of beige and off-white to create a refined and elegant feel.

Design Choices - Fonts

The font choices in the Odufashion website design project were Grand Slang for headings and Zen Kaku Gothic New for body text. Grand Slang conveyed luxury and refinement, while Zen Kaku Gothic New added a modern and user-friendly touch. The combination gave a sophisticated look.

Key Learnings

As a designer and Webflow developer for the Odufashion website project, I learned that knowing your brand inside and out is key to creating a solid website for the brand. This helped me to create a website that perfectly captured the brand's vibe and appealed to its audience. In this case, I needed to convey luxury and sophistication to show that Odufashion is a high-end kaftan brand. By understanding the brand, I was also able to keep things consistent across the design, making sure it all looked sleek. This project was a big reminder that understanding your brand is essential for creating a website that really hits the spot.
